I've been using Mp3 tag for years usually for adding covers, but this is an another level. And guess what you 'are saved me a lot off hassle to edit 1024 game rip tracks from my favourite and the best game ever created which is Red Dead Redemption 2. All track from Story, Strangers and epic ambient music from Territories will be on my audio soon banging all day long!!! Well made tutorial. Peace

Very good tutorial. MP3TAG has resolved a problem I was having with Sonos. The Sonos Music-Library-Scan just would not recognise one specific folder, which contained the MP3 files I'd created from a CD that was originally published by Marks and Spencer. I eventually deduced that the problem must be that these MP3 files did not contain the Album or Artist Tags, which seem to be necessary for Sonos to recognise the files. I've been using Tag&Rename software for some time, but I could not work out how to use it to add tags where none exist. Maybe there IS a way, but I could not find it. Then I spotted MP3TAG, which does specifically do that job. Used it (with help of this KZbin video) to add the Album and Artist tags, and lo and behold Sonos now DOES recognise the album (which is by the way called TRANQUILLITY). Many thanks.

Instead of using Excel and Antrenamer you can do all of what you did inside Mp3Tag much easier and faster using - Actions. Just name all the Titles - Track and go to Action and add the Track number to the Title. Done

Okay but when I save changes after I add the tag, the files are no longer available on my computer all I can see is the text for it but when I try to play it it says it's been moved and I can't find where it's putting all of my music but it separating the music folder from the metadata and basically deleting anything that I try to change

My pioneer car deck won’t play certain mp3 I just downloads I noticed only different with these new files. It working is they have no length tag , no codec tag and no frequency tag. And my pioneer tells me unplayable. How do I add these?

You really need to go to a PIONEER forum, these tags are for general phone use.

Please I have many albums starting by 01 & 02 & 03 until 340 albums each album having many songs also start 01 until 1560 songs or more now my asking is how i can keep in artist for each album first the album number and second the song number for example i need to work in album number 5 and available inside 600 songs so i need to show on artists 0501 0502 0503 ...... until 05600 ? Hi. I've got a lot of songs/albums and I'm editing their tags using the program "Mp3tag" (This program has a lot of editable tags for songs.) And also inside this app, there are 3 important tags that I'm so confused about them! "Label", "Copyright", "Publisher" On the back cover of the albums (into CD Jewel Case) there are a few Copyright Symbols that I want to add to the tags of my songs. Your mic is popping. It's horrible. Use pop filter, or cut low frequency with EQ.
