Steps to top up Windshield Washer Fluid in Toyota Corolla
Locate the Hood Release Lever - inside your Toyota Corolla, find the hood release lever, usually located near the driver's side footwell.
Open the Hood
Pull the hood release lever to pop the hood open slightly.
Exit the vehicle and find the secondary hood release latch under the front of the hood.
Lift the hood and secure it with the hood prop rod, if available.
Locate the Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir - Look for a translucent container with a blue cap, often labeled with a windshield or water icon.
Remove the Cap - pop off the blue cap from the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
Check Fluid Level - check the fluid level by looking at the markings on the side of the reservoir. If it's low, proceed to the next step.
Prepare to Fill - Place a funnel over the reservoir opening if you have one. This makes it easier to pour the fluid without spilling.
Fill the Reservoir - Slowly pour the windshield washer fluid into the reservoir until it reaches the "Full" line or is about an inch from the top.
Replace the Cap - Securely place the cap back on the reservoir and make sure it's tightly closed.
Test the Fluid - Start your Toyota Corolla and activate the windshield washer fluid to ensure it sprays properly.
Close the Hood - Carefully lower the hood and make sure it latches securely.
