Why do I have to turn the motors with a screwdriver in my top and bottom, and the left and right have a hole in the fender. Europe 2010 version????????

I just bought my daughter her 1st car. A little fixer upper civic. I'm to poor for the new stuff. I was wondering how to adjust those lights. BTW, I noticed your car sounds like a sewing machine. My daughter's car did also. I checked and adjusted the valves and it's a lot more quiet. Check your valve clearance. Super simple job

Stock 9006 bulbs are super dim, about 1000 lumens. Easy upgrade is going to 9012 HIR bulbs and trimming one of the tabs slightly. Same watts but 70% brighter

The right light should actually be slightly higher. The left light has a lower cutoff so as not to blind oncoming traffic. The right is mostly for shoulder and forward illumination

Your suppose to aim driver light slightly lower than the passenger side , passenger higher to se the side of the road ditch , and driver lower not to blind the oncoming traffic its part of Honda specs !

Thanks for the info on that. The car was in an accident, so they were basically pointed at the ground after the bodywork was finished. Thanks for your comment, people will be able to adjust their lights as appropriate.

Before you adjust them, make sure the bulbs are seated properly in the housings first. Sometimes they are and the beams go awry.

Any idea for electrical leveler headlights? I dont have that bolt on my headlights, there is three leveler motor instead.

Unknown? Might have to adjust with software at dealer? Sometimes the automatic levelers (especially in BMWs) will break on the plastic suspension sensor. This will cause the headlights to change their behavior.

ok. mine almost look cross eyed and at night i cannot see anything. i’ve spent two days trying to adjust mine and cannot get it to work. i need help

First thing to do is ensure you have the bulbs seated properly in the housings. Sometimes they are not in there correctly. Also, check the bulbs for the correct number for your make and model. The 9003 and the H4 look identical but the light output pattern might not be compatible with the housing reflector. There is some debate on the H4/9003 interchangeability.

Yes, I used the low beams for the adjustment. High beams will be good if the low beams are adjusted properly. The car was repaired from a wreck, so the headlights were badly misaligned.

How do you adjust left or right ?

There is another adjuster access hole to do that. Sorry, I must have skipped that information. I only needed to adjust the up/down on my vehicle at the time.

Where you fighting the bolt or loosing it you didn’t show which way to turn

Sorry I wasn’t clear. Just watch your beams closely as you turn the adjuster. I can’t remember, but it think tightening raised the light, loosening lowered it.

How bout high beams?

You can’t adjust the high beams independent of the low beams as far as I know. If you adjust one, you adjust both.
