Hi. I have few questions. I have buy a new TVS Jupiter BS4 and have runned 650 Kms. Q1. Which transmission/gear oil brand with specification should I used for my TVS Jupiter? Q2. Is it safe to use TVS Jupiter's engine oil into Transmission as a Transmission/Gear oil ? Both TVS Jupiter Manual and service centre guys recommended to use only the TVS TRU4 Premium Semi-Synthetic engine oil (SAE-10W30 API-SL, JASO-MA2) into the transmission as a gear oil. But according to outside mechanic and also online forums it is recommended to use SAE-90 Gear oil for Transmission of gearless scooters. What should I do? Q3. I feel some metal friction sound coming from gears of rear tyres at speed of 40 to 60kmph mostly with pillion or sometimes without pillion. Jupiter run 650 kms and also 1st service is done few days ago. They used the engine oil into the transmission as a gear oil. They said that this problem will gone after 5000kms. But I don't think so. Why I got this problem and what is the solution?

My dear, no need to mark, can be adjusted by hearing the sound, the maximum. Adjust air screw until we get the maximum rpm. Because losing air screw will increase air flow and righting air screw will decrease air flow. Ratio 2:1

My dear, this is a different method not the method you see everyday on youtube. In some carburetors it's very hard to find the exact point where RPM is highest in such carburetors this is the only method. And the ratio 2:1 is absolutely incorrect as Air to Fuel mixture should always be 14:1, at 2:1 the engine will not start at all.

Tuning bohot aasaan chiz hai, tum khud karo, mechanic ke bharose mat rho. 1. Bike ko 2-3 KM chala ke lao 2. Bike ko double stand par lagana hai 3. Bike ke RPM speed adjustment wale screw ko thoda tight karke RPM badhana hai 4. Fir air fuel mixture(Milage wale nut) ko poora andar ghumana hai 5. Fir air fuel mixture(Milage wale nut) ko thoda thoda kholna hai 6. Fir air fuel mixture(Milage wale nut) ko us jagah par set karna hai jaha RPM sabse jyada badh jae 7. Fir RPM adjustment wale screw ko vapas ghuma ke RPM 1200-1400 ke bich me set kar dena hai.

Haan aap Semi sythetic/Semi Synth. oil use kar sakte ho, Fully Synthetic oil use karne se bas ek problem hoti hai, Fully synthetic oil kuch jyada hi fislan wala hota hai, fully synthetic oil cars ke liye best jinme dry clutch hota hai, jisme clutch me engine oil nahi jata. passion pro bike me clutch engine oil me dooba rehta hai jise Wet Clutch kehte hai. Fully synthetic engine oil se cluth me bhi chiknai peda ho jati hai isliye clutch high load par fisalta hai yani agar aapke sath koi aur bhi betha hai aur aapki clutch plates 25% tak ghisi hui hai to Fully synthetic engine oil se clutch plates kabhi kabhi pickup uthate waqt fisal jati hai. So aap Semi synthetic engine oil use kare to achha hai. Vese bhi engine oil ki quality se itna fark nahi padega jitna uski quantity se padega. Engine oil koi sa bhi ho bas sahi level tak hona chahiye aur har 2 week me engine oil ka level check karte rehna chahiye. Aur passion pro me 10W30 Recommended hota hai, par hamare india ki garmi ke hisab se aap apni bike me 10w40 ya 20w40 Dal sakte hai. Kuch 1000 - 2000 Km baad 10w50 wala engine oil 10w40 ho jata hai. So aap apni bike me Semi synthetic 10w30, 10w40 aur 20-40 dal sakte hai. Agar aap apni bike ko maintain karke rakhna chahte hai to correct engine oil level check karne ka sahi tarika jarur janna chahiye . Don't get confused, suppose the first mark is at 9 O'Clock and the other mark is at 3 O'Clock then we have to find the middle position which would be the 6 O'Clock position. You may be confused in rotating the screw, because screw has a line in the middle, don't worry about it, just put a radius line on the screw and then start rotating it. You just need to find the middle point between two marks. If you can't use that method then just rotate it clockwise fully(DO NOT TIGHTEN IT) then rotate the screw counter clock wise one 360 degree rotation. After that find the point where the engine RPM is the best, that's it.

Debashis, there are lots of different methods to tune the carburetor. Every mechanic has own his method. One of the method people don't know is putting hand in front of exhaust pipe and feeling the moisture. At the perfect adjustment the exhaust gives steam which you can feel by hand but that needs practice. However, Yes you can find the perfect point where your RPM is the highest by taking the existing point as reference. Debashis, An Air filter must be changed after 6 months or less, a clogged air filter can also affect the performance a lot.

Yes, you are absolutely right, those are torx screw, unko agar kholna chahte ho to aapko Torx screw driver chahiye nahi to aap use Plier se bhi khol sakte ho, par use kholne ki koi jarurat nahi hai, Ye ek Throttle position switch hota hai isse CDI ko ye pata chalta hai ki humne throttle kitna khola hua hai. Jyada throttle kholne se RPM badh jate hai aur RPM badhne ke baad agar Ignition timing yani ki spark plug ke fire karne ki timing ko Piston ke top pe jane se thoda sa pehle karna padta hai nahi to Pickup me kami aa jati hai, is switch ka bas yahi kaam hai.

Glamour 50+ Average on local, it's average is even better than passion pro Loosing will lean the mixture, however loosing the idle mixture screw will lean up only Idle jet, you can't lean the main jet.

Bike ke tire me 35 PSI air hona chahiye pichle tyre me 4. Carburetor har 3 month me saf hona chahiye aur tuned hona chahiye 5. Screw kholne ki koi setting nahi hoti, screw ka kaam hota Jitni Air aa rahi ho uske hisab se fuel dena, to agar aapka filter 10% hawa kam de raha hai to screw bhi usi hisab se adjust karna padta hai, sahi mixture pe bike ke RPM sabse jyada hote hai. Steps me bata deta hu: 1. Bike ko 2-3 KM chala ke lao 2. Bike ko double stand par lagana hai 3. Bike ke RPM adjustment wale screw ko thoda tight karke RPM badhana hai 4. Fir Air/Fuel mixture screw ko pehle andar ghumao fir jaha engine ki speed kam hoti nazar aae vaha nishan lagao Fir Air/Fuel mixture screw ko bahar kholo fir jaha engine ki speed kam hoti nazar aae vaha ek aur nishan lagao Fir dono ke bilkul bich me screw ko set kar do bas vahi jagah perfect jagah hogi. Average agar badhwana chahte ho to batana, uske liye tumhe carburetor kholna aana chahiye. Bike ki pickup thodi kam ho jaegi top gear me par average 5-10 Km ki badh jaegi.

Aaj kal cylinder bore karwane ke naam pe chote mechanics 50 number ke piston ki rings ko thoda ghis ke dal dete hai, usse gadi kuch time tak sahi chalti hai par fir dobara se dhua wagera aur pickup problem ho jati hai. Esa karke jyadatar mechanics kafi mota pesa kama lete hai. Gadi bore karwane ke baad mechanics cylinder piston ko achhi tarah apni jagah banane ke liye Fuel ko jyada khol dete hai usse bhi kai baar pickup kam ho jata hai. Sabse pehle aap ye check karo ki gadi ka engine oil kam na ho raha ho. Agar bike engine oil kha rhi hai to ho sakta hai ki piston cylinder naya na dala ho, isliye engine oil kha rhi hai. Engine oil ka correct level check karo. Dusra cylinder ke aas pas koi oil wagera leak na ho raha ho ye bhi check karna, cylinder ke aas pas oil leak ka matlab hai head me se pressure leak ho raha hai. Aur fir bike ke exhaust ko check karna ki bike se kisi bhi tarah ka dhua na dikhai de, bike start karke uske exhaust ke upar apna haath lagana, aapki ungliyo par aapko pani jesa mehsus hona chahiye. Agar nahi to carburetor ki tuning karao aur dobara se check karo ki exhaust se steam nikal rahi hai ya koi dhua. Agar fir bhi dhua dikhai de to fir cylinder piston me kuch gadbad hai.

You are welcome, its still not correct it should be 14:1 12:1 is a rich mixture. However carburetors don't give perfect ratio in different throttle positions. That's why fuel injection was introduced to a vehicle. Performance of a carburetor changes with the time and so does the mixture. It never affects the main jet but affects the idle jet a lot

Ek solenoid coil ko throttle cable se jodna padega aur throttle cable ko ek Throttle position sensor se jodna padega aur us throttle position sensor se ek RPM limiter device jodna padega jo hamare bike ke meter ki sui se connected rahega, kuki bike me speed sensor to hota nahi hai agle tyre me. RPM limiter device meter se 45Km/h ka signal milte hi solenoid ko itna utha ke rakhega ki carburetor me sirf utni gas jae jo engine ko kam kare.

White smoke jab aata hai jab engine oil combustion chamber me jata hai, agar milage sahi hai to ho sakta hai ki Valve seal kharab ho gai hongi, Go to the mechanic and ask him to replace valve seal without opening head. Vo spark plug me koi cotton ki rope dal ke valves ko lock kar dega aur fir valve seal ko change kar dega. Valve seal to 200-300 me change ho jaega including mechanic job and valve seal. Agar vo head kholta hai to fir head remove karke oil seal dal dega aur cost would be around 300-500 Max depends on the charges at your area.

Sabse pehle to Engine ka compression achha hona chahiye Agar paper filter hai to vo har 6 month me badal dena chahiye aur use petrol ya kisi bhi tarah ke liquid se nahi dhona chahiye. Fir carburetor bilkul clean hona chahiye aur last me uski tuning sahi tarike se honi chahiye. KZbin par duniya bhar ke videos pade hue hai jo kehte hai ki jaha sabse jyada RPM aae vaha set kardo. Jabki ye galat hai, isse sirf idle jet ki tuning hoti hai Main jet ki nahi. Aur Idle jet sirf 30% fuel ko hi control karta hai baki main jet hi karta hai. Isliye log jindagi bhar tuning karte reh jate hai par fir bhi unki tuning sahi nahi ho pati. Agar aapki bike ka koi issue aa raha hai to properly troubleshooting karne ke liye mujhe wats app karna.

Battery nikal ke uspe headlight wala bulb connect karo agar 15 minute me bilkul down ho jata hai to fir battery change karke dekho. Aur agar isse bhi battery khatam hoti hai to multimeter se shorting check karo.

Jitna Hard acceleration unha engine par pressure. To jaruri nahi hai har gaadi ke engine pe jyada pressure pade, Agar 150cc ki bike ko 90-100 par chalate hai to utna pressure nahi padta jitna 100cc ki bike ko 90-100 par chalane se padta hai. Kuki 100cc ki sasti bike ke engine me vo quality ke parts nahi hote jo apne upar padne wale load ko jhel jae. Fir parts ki quality me bhi difference hota hai. Hard acceleration par bas engine jaldi aawaz karne lag jata hai.
