Try rotating the actual rubber ended bit first. Might give you enough without adjusting the connecting arm. Let us know how it goes.

I just bought the exact same boots today. I had the same problem with my 23 R1250GSA shifter and now know how to adjust it thanks to this video. 👍

Great video. Just got the same boots and was struggling to shift between gears.

Thanks for the vid matey, appreciate that. My gear lever problem is even more extreme, I have size 14 feet - you can probably guess what the overall boot size is like. I'm fine in road boots, but no chance at all in adventure boots. I'll probably end up buying one of the lever extenders from one of the usual favourite GS aftermarket manufacturers.

I got a thick boots as well( Revit Expedition GTx). The GS310A doesn’t allow me to extend further up to fit in nicely. but lucky enough I got the SWmotech footpeg that can be adjusted /rotate further down..

Hi, great review. Just bought the same boots and was wondering if when you go back to more summer type (and I know it is a concept in the UK :-)... as in Belgium ), is it still ok with the shifter or you need to change it each time you move from klim boots to riding trainers ? I have not used mine yet (still in the box) and wondering if I should change them ? Not wanting to screw up or down as I use other shoes... if I make sense. Tx

Hi Alec. Good question. I have no issue swapping between my Klim ADV boots and my Helstons Liberty boots. My intuition is it will be variable based on individual biomechanics but for me the difference is not too big.

Thanks for the tutorial! I also have new boots, the Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro. I tried to raise the lever but the thread did not allow me to raise by the desired 1 centimeter. Was probably already set relatively high, so there was not much thread left at the bottom / right stop ... right? Or did I do something wrong? Are there other possibilities? Questions from a beginner...

Hi Thomas. If there is no more adjustment in the long bar you could rotate the actual selector. Check in the video again for a visual representation. That gave me the extra bit I needed plus I could dial in the perfect fore/aft position
