How to Adjust Your C5 and C6 Corvette Parking Brake

There is a Caliper type tool ( fairly cheap ) and specs in the C5/C6 Manual that will take the guess work out of the adjustment. Makes life a whole lot easier and correct.

Good job man. I’m big on not using hammers on rotors your keeping. If it’s not rusted on you can usually bump it to the inside on the edge of the rotor with your palm or your boots and it’ll fall off. Do you rotate the spreader to the inside of the hub or outside to spread it?

Why can you not leave the ebrake on while taking on rotor? Does the ebrake stick to the rotor and hold it in place ?

Yes, the e brake shoes are on the inside of the rotor, like an old school drum brake.
