Great video dude! Your getting the frogstand progressions down pretty good! I have been doing that shoulder opener that you showed awhile ago on the daily and as well as stretching more so I can hopefully start training handstand without my shoulders feeling like they got hit by sledge hammers! You and this community you have built seem highly motivated based on the comments from each video week to week and I am sure we are all going to make tremendous progress in 2021 due to laying out a solid foundation and not rushing progress risking potential injuries

Wow! Really appreciate that - that means loads! And for sure! with this ground work, skill development should be rapid! And I am actually so happy that these videos are valuable for so many people and are getting people to their calisthenics goals! BRING ON 2021!

Hey man, i was wondering what are your futures goals in calisthenics. Are u gonna clean up ur muscle ups, learn back or front levers, or upgrade ur handstand and handstand press skills?
@CaliToTheCrowd

great question! And I am still researching into that - video coming soon, but sneak peak for you... new skills for sure 😁

hey bro. how much rest in between sets for single leg and how many sets is good 5? I'm getting close to advanced but will try to master single leg for 20 secs
@CaliToTheCrowd
@CaliToTheCrowd 2 жыл бұрын
I'd suggest minimum 2 minutes. and yeah, 5 sets is a good target to hit =]

I can only do the knee taps with my right knee, but not my left, do I try to equalise this or just let my right progress faster than my left? Grateful for any suggestions
@CaliToTheCrowd
@CaliToTheCrowd 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely. Even if for now, you can only try and it ends up being an isometric on your weaker left leg side, you will get stronger eventually! This will be a signal that your right arm is stronger than your left (so can support more weight), Try doing some archer variations of push ups as well, to get that left arm up to the level of your right arm =]

Bro, I always fall to my feet when i try these. I can hold a frogstand for 40 secs but i can't hold even for a second when i lift my leg. Are my shoulders not strong enough?
@CaliToTheCrowd
@CaliToTheCrowd 2 жыл бұрын
It may be a strength thing, if so, keep working on your pike push ups to increase that overhead pushing strength! But it may also be a balance thing. Film yourself and make sure that when you take your knee off, nothing else moves. Sometimes, beginners compensate with the imbalance by twisting at the hips or shoulders, so make sure you're staying strong through the core =]
