One more suggestion. Instead of purchasing a business class ticket, buy 2 economy seats next to each other. That's how I came to Africa when I moved here in 2021. Cheaper and you'll have more space.

You can use kiosks or get into fast track lines for customs. Although I live abroad, Global entry is helpful because I do come back to the US. BTW Global Entry includes TSA Precheck.

I just want to give a quick testimonial about the mindset SHIFT this video has given to me. I'm in my 30s and I'd never even considered planning the vacation of my dreams and then figuring out how to make it happen. I always did the "responsible" thing by working with the money I had left after everyone else got their cut. Then I'd wonder why I was having lackluster traveling experiences and coming home dissatisfied (while still spending lots of money, in reality). After watching this live, I planned my summer trip the Stephanie Perry way. I just booked LUXURY accommodations in Bonaire with spa add-ons and an upgraded Economy Plus flight (with Premier Access). And I still have money left over! Money is truly in abundance. Thank you Stephanie!! You deserve every bit of credit and success that comes your way. 💝 - Shanintra

Very good point re not booking flights via third parties. Learned this the hard way last year when my flight was cancelled and third party didn't do anything. Best to book direct with airlines these days and using credit cards gives a bit more protection (at least in the UK) as bank is also liable if airline doesn't provide refund when flight is cancelled (known as Section 75 refunds in the UK). Stephanie, I visited J'Berg and Cape Town in 2018. Had a fabulous time by myself. Please look into taking the train between J'Berg and Cape Town. There are three levels of travel. The yellow train is the no- frills, no sleeper car train that the local people take. I took the purple train which has sleeper cars, showers, and Amtrak style meals in the dining room (included in the cost). There is a first class train, too. It's an overnight trip with very nice scenery during most of the trip. Of course, on the way back to J'Berg, someone stole some of the railroad tracks, so vans were sent to complete the journey.

I really Appreciate Stephanie's insight and experience but this trip you are planning to Africa does NOT match the budget of your target audience. That's great that you are earning the life of ease and luxury from your subscriber income that you no longer have to bootstrap and travel as affordably as you once did. A two month vacation is in the grasp of less than 1/10th of 1 percent of your viewership and I am disappointed that you are sharing your lavish tastes with black women who really want to see the world the way you once did without luxury comfort and requirements. You are no different than every coaching capitalist on KZbin selling dreams, Current Living expenses and Cambly will not afford the income for this kind of a trip and you know it.

Stephanie is taking a two month trip. She clearly indicates that people need to plan according to their own schedule and budget. They are doing a meet up and that will be one week or less.
