I’m about to do a light purple into a deeper purple to a black fade on Air Force 1’s and then do white flowers on a top layer. I watched your beldnk g videos which are super helpful, but I am trying to blend the colors length wise to the shoe as opposed to top down how you did… any tips to get the colors even on both sides etc?

Hi, I truly appreciate the way you teach in step by step ways of accomplishing the goal. My number one issue that I would like you to do a step by step on that I have to find any one do is the prepping. I have painted several shoes and I literally have stripped so hard on the shoe with acetone that I almost could see the actual leather at times and yet i am still seeing areas were paint is chipping or pealing. I really want to know what I need to do step by step to accomplish this goal. Thank you DeJesus. Love your videos.

Appreciate that, I believe sanding is even more important than acetoning so make sure you’re not skipping that step. Then allow at least 15-20 mins of dry time between paint coats

I am working on a guitar and I'm trying to fade from white to light gray over a distance of about 8 to 12 inches. Your video is awesome and super helpful for me with figuring out how to do this. Do you know of any specific tweaks on what you just did there for doing a seamless fade from white to light gray? Great work on the video by the way! I love the final result as well!

So white is just so darn opaque that it’s gunna be hard to cover up the light grey, so when you’re blending your light grey onto white make sure it’s super thinned out!

Backflow technique. Press your finger against front of gun and then since nothing can escape it starts to bubble backwards basically mixing the paints

Question. If doing a gradient from red to a blue, mixing both of them will make a purple. How do I create a gradient using those colors?

If you used a color picker and selected the colors in between a perfect red to blue gradient you would get shades of purple... this technique still works for any colors

Yes you would need to make your middle bar larger and wider so you have more room to blend those original colors back on top
