This video helped me so much. I have been losing sleep over how to get s moon or planet in a painting and I'm probably as green behind the ears as anyone starting out can be for painting. Thank you and I'll be watching more videos and maybe making a few

Just finished my first cosmos pic, I went from tutorial to drying in about forty mins, made a couple of errors but painted them out, my little boy loves it and he will be doing his first planet pic tomorrow after he watches the tutorial with me, if I'd had a teacher in school like this lady I'm sure I would have wanted to learn more.

wow, stumbled across this video because i was looking up airbrush beginner stuff because i love love love painting and creating stuff i just am not very good at drawing so when i paint i tend to use a pallet knife and make trees because i am not so good at detail. so that is easy for me to express my paintings. i use the charcoal paper method if i want to fill in i guess you could say whatever my painting is. i have to say i am very good at filling in and adding color into things but the outlines and the actual drawing aspect i just am not proportionate enough... but i have always been intrigued with spray painting and how its mostly using colors so I'm trying to get good at it as well as looking into airbrush paintings! thanks for the inspiration! on my personal channel i will definitely sub!

Hey love your video. I just got into airbrushing to paint my fishing lures. I want to try somthing like this but my paint dries so fast I can't smear the paint with the news paper to get the textured effect. I have a dual action gravity feed gun and acrylic waterbased paints. Does the wet wood under the poster board help? or do I have to mix water with my paint to stop it from drying so fast
@AlisaAmor5 жыл бұрын
it's the airbrush. You need one that can give you a thicker layer. I use the quick change from Harbor Freight. Super cheap too!

Wow you really paint great art with that ten dollar airbrush. I have the other ten dollar harbor freight one I use it to spray single colors over large area's that's it tho. You know like tone the page canvas or object then switch to my Badger 155s and finish background and start the painting. After that I switch to yet another type of expensive airbrush gravity feed small needle. Yet here I am watching you defy all the common knowledge on airbrushing and make awesome art with that thing just blown away. Do you ever use other airbrushs or brushes and do more precise work like idk portraits or whatever your into? I'd almost give you a airbrush just to see what you can do with a double action. It would undoubtedly be something good. Are you doing techniques for spray paint art because that's basically what that thing seems to be is a multi color refillable spray can.

Nice, but I need a place to learn how to draw art. I was a draftsman and can draw anything from a machine part to a house with straightedges and a scale. My brain was never trained to do art. I would love to learn to do stuff like that.
@t3mustanggt055 жыл бұрын
I like your techniques , except for the palm tree making, I just air brush them free hand. Only thing I would do different is wait till I see how many names is going to go on the plate before doing the palm tree or tree or maybe tree on side and sea oats on the other after adding the name.
