This is going to come in super handy on my pieces. It's funny because I see you do a few layers and think, that's all it needs, you keep adding and I'm like stop, your spoiling it, till you get to the end and I see the wisdom in your many lighter layers and how beautiful and realistic your work looks.

Airbrush Asylum I want to get started but honestly the ‘pro’ stuff seems so expensive and then the Cheap no-name stuff just seems too low priced to be any good (for tees at least) Have you tried any of the cheaper stuff ? I’m thinking maybe a good quality air compressor instead of a ‘mini’ one and then some cheap Chinese gravity fed airbrushes .... I can’t see how those could be bad as long as I keep them clean.
@AirbrushAsylum4 жыл бұрын
thedeazy if anything I would spend the $ on a good brush even the iwata Neo is priced well and is a quality brush . You can use any compressor even a cheap one from a hardware store will do, as long as it has a moisture trap and regulator it will work fine 👍🏻😉

Very well done. I'm new to air brushing , can you use water color paints with air brushing?
@AirbrushAsylum4 жыл бұрын
Thank you and yes, most definitely I use trident paints as well as some Createx colors and both are waterbased and you thin them with their reducers , there are lots of fantastic products out there now, basically anything thinned to a ‘milky’ consistency will flow through your brush. 🙏🏻👍🏻

Ciao. Apprezzo molto tutto quello che fai e ti ringrazio. Avrei una domanda: quale è la differenza sostanziale tra i colori Createx Illustretor e Createx Airbrush Color? Grazie se vorrai rispondermi.
@AirbrushAsylum7 ай бұрын
Hi there thanks for your question, the main difference between regular Createx colors as opposed to the illustration range is that the illustration colors can be worked and manipulated with an eraser pencil or electric eraser as they don’t cross link as fast. I also like the transparency of the illustration colors and I find they flow better 👍🏻 hope that helps

Looks great I need to try and use my air brush went and bought everything to start painting but the paint. I'm not shire what paint to use. I have RUSTOLUME paint if I thin that out enough. I bought many cans of diffrent colors. I told myself I'm not buying no more spray cans they go to wast the air disappears from the spray can and it will be a full can of paint.
@AirbrushAsylum5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment I would recommend using either Trident or createx paints or any other brand that is designed for airbrushing so that you can get the best performance out of your brush as spray can paint is not ideal , hope that helps 👍🏻👍🏻

Hello! I've just started doing airbrush. I'm using createx opaque and transparent paint, do I need to thin them or I can use them directly? I read I need to thin them but I've tried half and half with water and the spray wasn't constant and did a few splatter... any advice? Thank you!
@AirbrushAsylum5 жыл бұрын
Hi there thanks for your comment and you will find that most paints require thinning even though they are waterbased I highly recommend using the reducer from that particular brand rather than water, as water will break down the pigment structure therefore compromising the paints performance. Get yourself some createx High performance reducer see following affiliate link hope that helps : amzn.to/2FAQoHN 👌🏻
@GabLam05 жыл бұрын
@@AirbrushAsylum Thank you for your answer! I tried water half and half and it was splattering and unconstant and also tried only paint and thougth it was better looking on canvas however it dried up as fast on the canvas as on my airbrush tip.. So both are bad? And using your product, do you always do half and half or use depending if you want dark or light? Thanks

Hi there I have an airbrush similar to yours. When I push down on the trigger button it sprays paint instantly instead of pushing down and activating the spray as I pull back gradually The more you pull back the more paint sprays out Is that supposed to happen? REGARDS RICHARD
@AirbrushAsylum5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment , paint shouldn’t be coming out when you just press for air. I would suggest giving it a thorough clean as there most likely is some dried paint stuck in your fluid nozzle, therefore not allowing the needle to seat and resulting in paint escaping when you press down for air. Hope that helps 👌🏻

Just a bit of feedback. I've watched two of your video's with this setup & I won't continue to watch them for the following reason. The angle you're using - putting the frame of your subject on an angle - cutting it off & putting it at a weird angle that makes orienting what you're doing to the plane your working - impossible for me to gauge some of the things you're doing because you're effectively hiding too much useful information. At least to me that's the case. I find that the lack of information is less than informative in the manner I'd want to be informed in order to make better use of your instruction. However you seem to like the approach you're using but it doesn't work at all for. Thought I'd let you know despite it being unlikely that you would change anything. However I do think you'd get faster growth if you got rid of that "watching uphill & sideways" experience that I can't stand. I'm sure as an artist you know how important a good spatial perspective is to take in a piece - so I'm guessing you hide that information deliberately. Maybe you're afraid of being copied? Then why teach at all if that's the case? Makes no sense to me since your peers aren't doing it. Perhaps some do but I'd still find this view of an artists work to show me that he/she's hiding something for reasons unknown. The reasoning cannot possibly be because you think it's better for your viewers - because it's actually kind of bad IMO. Live goes on. Adios!
