I enjoy watching this guy! I don't care if driver or show car. I am just counting days. Can't spend days filling firewell and adjusting trunk lid on a 30 day daily driver! Just Saying.

I can remember as kid my dad tweaking door jambs with two by four I miss that old wise dude...he worked at brown Brothers cadillac in lou when he was young....hell of a body man...wish I could have picked up on his body work skills

Todd, you probably picked up more knowledge than you think. If it wasn't for "old wise dudes" I wouldn't have learned anything

Enjoying this build!! Thank you for all of the advice for the bolt size, pitch, and length. I really like the use of stainless that you had in your last videos.

Now I can tweak mine. Thanks for the tips on twisting and whacking. Hope your back heals fast. Mine usually takes months when thrown out. Sucks

It sucks but I just keep going

I am going to put a driver side quarter panel on my 56, so I appreciate your tip about doing the trunk first. Bought a new trunk last week and have it initially mounted on car. Still need to adjust it some. I also have a new tail piece right below where the trunk shuts to replace as mine is rusted, and I am replacing about 12" of the rear of the trunk floor. Should I do that before the quarter panel or after?? Thanks.

Pride and bad backs just don’t mic, lol. It took me a long time after major back surgery, to realize that I just couldn’t do things I used to. You have to swallow yer pride and get help with those things that “put your back out”! Trust me it gets worse everytime so look after your back cause I like watching these vids!!

My trunk needs a lot of tweaking but this video will help on some of it. Mine is also high at the back even with the bumpers hitting the tailpan. I don't know what to do about that.

Walter, email me a pic or two. I'll try to help if I can

I don't think so. Looks like he trying to build a show car instead of a driver.
