same. Have a pair that I would love to wear come fall. I tried them on, knew they were too big, knew my mom used to alter my pants quite often and my great aunt used to just sew clothing anyway and that downsizing was less problematic than upsizing and bought them.. they're still just sitting in my closet, never worn

I can easily sort that. I’ll add in some contrast stripes down the sides (which I just learned I can do thanks to you!!!) and maybe add some handmade patches and appliqués. I’m gonna look fancy AF 🙌 💅

Your videos are so well done, thank you for all the effort you put into them! I also have a question, I bought a pair of jeans that just slide that tiny bit (but uncomfortable amount) up too tight/ high in my bum cheeks after walking a bit, - i didn't notice when buying them, as it doesn't happen when simply standing haha. Do you reckon I need to take the backseam down a cm, making the whole backseam longer, or do you think i need more fabric taking the curve out infront or what would you guess? Any tips highly appreciated!

It is certainly worth try a try to see if taking it out by a cm, but I can't promise that it'll solve your problem. Adjusting for butt sizing is often a issue that can only be truly solved in the pattern drafting stage.

Seam ruler, it has a moveable marker to set at whatever your seam allowance is.

This was something I was grappling with after making the video. I was definitely pushing the limits of just a waist taper at 4 inches. Is it worth the time investment reworking the full waist & thigh vs starting with a fresh pair with a better fitting overall pattern? I appreciate your attention to detail and discussions of them.

Can anyone please advise me, If you have a dart in the front of a bodice and a dart lessens the material, do you have to add a dart in the back bodice so the hems line up for stitching? Many Thanks

Adding a dart in the front will made the side seam move forward a bit yes. You do also want the dart in the back regardless so that there's a taper for your lower back/upper butt. I'm not quite sure what you mean by this effecting the hem at the bottom of the pants, but hopefully my answer is informative for you to make adjustments as needed.
