So I have a concern. Not sure if the N total is necessary cos after completing the table, you find that the sum total of your values is relatively higher than the number of respondents (N), including the percentage value. Which is not out of place since it's a multiple-choice question. But is it essential to have the N values there, since it wouldn't tally with the sum total?

The n value is what you always want to divide by in select all that that apply questions like this. That gives you Percent of responDENTS vs percent of responsSES. If you wanted to understand percent of responses you can divide by the total number of selections, but that may be less meaningful to your reporting audience. Just depends on what you’re trying to learn. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!

this is an inefficient way to model this.. can you do a video using Power BI?

I’m not a Power BI, but if you learn a way to do it over there you like I hope you’ll share!
