*Very* late to this but really well explained and demonstrated. The little shake just after impact isn't something I'd considered. I would tend to have a little 'bounce' (a bit like a shock absorber) but this works so well.

I'm not sure if you can - though there might be some way, I usually just resize the frames in After Effects to fit the aspect ratio (Tbh this might be why a lot of people say my dimensions look weird. I'll see if I can figure out how to shoot in 16:9 and I'll let you know if I find a solution)
