How to Apply a Tattoo Stencil

When I was doing this with the fake skin sent in the practice kit, the stencil kept completely wiping off after one wipe with soapy water. Even when I waited for 5 minutes for the stencil to sit. Can you please help me understand why?

Please tell me the difference/possible risks of just using a sharpie or pen on my skin to trace the tatt instead of using the paper?

well.... sharpies and pens have solvents not meant for your skin. These products are made for skin. :-) more on our BLOG!

Sharpies are meant for paper, so you're getting additional solvents etc in your skin

Why not just take a normal paper that has a design on it an place it over the stencil paper. Then draw over the design. Then you can reuse that same stencil paper for really long and don't even need tracing paper. Am I missing something?
