Can you put the cake back in the fridge after you put the suagr sheet on the cake or will it ruin the sugar sheet

Oh great and how long in advance can you put in a cake like this in the fridge before it’s eaten? Is 3 days ok? The icing sheet I have has a printed photograph on it - will that be ok? Thanks in advance x

Thankfully I have never had that issue as I apply directly after I ice with buttercream. I do make sure my icing is nice and smooth (as smooth as it can be) and just use my hand (100% dry/clean and not damp or wet) to smooth it out before I start to pipe around the image :)
