I spray my pups harness and it works well, you really don’t need a lot to keep the ticks away

From a FB group, it was mentioned that permethrin doesn't really bond to DCF, but the mesh or other tent materials could get sprayed.

If you have gloves on, shouldn’t you also have a mask and long pants on as well?

In theory sure, when I’m reapplying it to gear on trail typically that doesn’t happen - the best I can usually muster is a pair of gloves

Isn’t it supposed to be a special kind for dogs? Sawyer makes a type specifically for dogs.

This is the one for dogs that sawyer has - the blue one (picaridin) is for human skin but not dogs
