Thank you so much for this video! I have been into R/C off and on since the 1980s and I had never used this dish soap and water technique for applying decals before. I watched your video and then gave this method a try just this past weekend when I put the decals on my Tamiya Bull Head. The stock flame decals on the hood are basically impossible to apply straight without using dish soap and water as you showed in the video. Thanks to you, my Bull Head's decals are on perfectly straight and my completed monster truck looks absolutely fantastic. Thanks again!

6:25 q-tips work GREAT for working decals into body lines like that

Q tips can work but I don't like the fibres that get stuck in the decals adhesive. A blunted toothpick can also work well for pressing down around details.
