I say after all decals have been applied to help protect the body from minor scratches. I apply 2 coats of Meguires Gold Class wax. Sounds crazy but it helps the body last longer and gives it incredible shine.

I do use quickwax in spray it works as well!

I use a pin for air bubbles. I don’t trust myself with a hobby knife! 🤪

I wonder what techniques are used by the people who are applying the decals on the RTR bodies at the factory. I have a couple Rustler bodies with horribly crooked decals-head & taillights, grill, and side windows. The care shown in this video is obviously not used on RTR bodies. Although my TRX-4 Ford Bronco body is much better. Regardless, I still love Traxxas.

I just used my fingers and smacked on the decals :P

After I am done with the hair dryer and I let the body cool off, then I wax my bodies make them nice and shiny!
