Thanks .. thanks .. thanks! I haven't used 3ds Max in a really long time and was complexly stumped by the material editor. I bought a couple books with tutorials and searched on KZbin for help, but no one explained how to get back to the legacy set up. I'm pretty good with computer imaging, but I was really getting frustrated as no one gave a clear set of instructions as you have here. You saved my sanity!
