Thank you so much! I prefer the cotton pad/balls method because I can see that my face is clean when the cotton ball are clean. I do use more products… about 6-7 small cotton balls but I feel rewarded. I also use toner with my fingers if I am in a rush in the morning. I just splash it on or spray it on let it dry then I put on my make up.

I also have oily skin and I've been apply glycolic acid with my fingers and my skin always felt sticky and heavy. When I tried a cotton pad there was a 100% difference

If you are using hydration toner alcohol free u can use your hand but it you r using astringent toner which contain alcohol exfoliate u need to use cotton bad as they are stronger than normal toner

it bases on the toner you use, usually toners have exfoliated ingredients such as: BHA, AHA,... can help to reuduce blackhead and use it with cotton pads to apply is better. Hope this help

Also exfoliating toners containing AHA/BHA should be used once (for sensitive, dry skin) and twice (for oily, normal skin) a week. Not more than that or it'll break down your skin barrier and you'll be prone to more redness, itchiness and pimples. Hope this helps

Hi Kimberly, I usually use a cotton pad for my glycolic acid toner just because it's an exfoliant and might be psychological but it helps me feel like I'm wiping the dead skin cells away! You can apply lightly either with your hands or a cotton pad. 💕

From what I’ve known, washing your face before using toner would be much better cause washing your face kind of removes like excess dirt on your skin which allows the toner to work better on your skin.

The reason I soak a cotton pad in toner and apply it to my face is to help my skin absorb more of it when it's dehydrated. But applying it a few times with your hands can have a similar effect 😊 Hope that helps
