Love this. Can you comment on why you covered the entire clock with sand even though it's really only visible (apparently) in the bottom 1/3 of it? Is this to maintain equal thickness throughout? Or is it actually visible under the water/waves and adds dimension that way? Thank you! This project has me very intrigued.
