Would you possibly consider doing a galaxy or space themed tray tutorial? I am trying to make one using a tray I got from the store for my cousin’s room as a Christmas gift, and I have hit quite a few snags. Granted, I’m incredibly new to resin art and am very much still in the learning phase. However, I would love to see your approach and techniques when it comes to working within a tray like that. It would be so helpful. Thank you for all you do!

Thank you for telling me! The links break when the item goes out of stock, then it will work again. This link works: amzn.to/3woY6NK or amzn.to/3uhkuaa (I added it to the video too so you can find easier later if you like) What you are looking for is two features 1. a heat gun that has the dial on the end that regulates the temperature - so you can swing it from hot to really hot :-) and 2. it should have two blow settings high/low after that, you want to make sure you get the tips you want. For more info on that see this vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZnRoKKCoMiesMk

Found this by researching realistic water for dioramas. None of the diorama creators I've watched so far, about 15 of them, have incorporated techniques you are using. This has me thinking that even more realistic effects can be achieved in dioramas by doing just that, meld effects from both disciplines. Inspiring work and thank you for sharing.

I am only asking at 32 mins in, but why aren’t you doing a clear coat on the whole piece? I think I get if it’s to be hung as this beautiful piece of art, but if it is a table, etc., should artists then cover the entire surface with resin? This is a very serious question. I AM NOT questioning this beautiful art at all. I am curious is all. Is this meant to be art or to be functional. Thanks you for all answers. Love.

HI this is great, just subscribed. Do you allow the layers to, it doesn't appear that you do - and your colors don't mesh & ruin the white surf ? I'm having a heck of a time making those waves. you make it look easy. You don't allow your layers to dry first before making the waves -may I ask why not ? Hello! =) I want to kindly ask you question. I'v trying to reproduce this art and my acrylic paint does not completely dissolve in resin. I see a lot of micro colour particles, but they do not merge into a single/solid color. Doesn`t matter how much time mix them 5-10-20min 😞 What could be the reason? Paints chosen expensive and popular between the artists. Thank you!
@ResinAsYouWish Жыл бұрын
Hi, the first question would be to ask if the paint has oil in it, sometimes they mix paint with a primer and it’s a hot mess when you mix it in resin. The next possibility is the resin you are using. I work with countertop resins - and the amount of acrylic paint I use when mixing in a 3 ounce cup is no more than the size of a dime.
