For everyone that bought the Vulp before the change would nabalis consider selling the hardened screws separate or send some to people that bought it I just got this the part where you mentioned you hope they do :p
@pdstaalverk2 жыл бұрын
After being in personal touch with Nabalis they claim the following: The upgraded (new) extra hardware package will be sold separate A small manufacturer error happened with a few Hardware Packages that were sent with the original Vulp. The error was that the Hardware Packages had broken pivot threads and more, the people who got these can get a free new hardware package with the hardened screws for free if those people contact them. I was one of them, and was told I will get a new one.

I applied the thread locker that came with my nabalis Morse the day after I got it and it had no tap at first but now (a week or so after) it has a little bit of tap but I am sure that the screws did not move, I was wondering if it could be the bushings that compressed or if I tuned it completely wrong lol ( I tightened it a little bit more than the point where the screw doesn't move easily at all). Anyways, was hoping you could give a rational explanation to this mystery of life 😂, love the videos keep it up❤️💪

A question that I had, that could be a video idea, is how to practice flipping (for how long, how often, is it a good thing to repeatedly do the same tricks or is it better to mix and match everything and practice that way) I watched your how to get flow and how to get better at flipping videos, but I often find myself messing up tricks the more I practice them. Thanks 👍
@birbsbalis20532 жыл бұрын
I would just keep practicing whatever u want or feel like doing. Any time that you put into the hobby, even just messing around is bound to help you improve. Being able to smoothly transition between tricks and have good flow just come from messing up over and over and over again.

You don't have to be locked on to one single way to practice flipping, as everything you've just said is a way to get better. Just mess around and you'll get good, tho I wouldn't suggest spending your time on short tricks, specifically those you see on BigFlip's channel as you won't be using most of them anyways unless you can incorporate them in a way you like if you aren't going to follow the what I'd call "conventional flipping" aka something you see alot online My way of getting better is to dedicate myself to learning combos immediately after I've learned the basis (fans, rollovers, twirls). It will be hard at first, but it will allows you to understand what combos basically are, the flow you're going to need to string combos together, and will let you know the tricks commonly used in combos. The last thing I said is important cus that draws a clear path for you to follow, aka you know what trick you're going to learn next. After that, I would recommend learning from other people to develop your own style and to further improve. My style of flipping is heavily inspired by Banzo Complains, shrimp_flips and Will's tho Will's flipping do feels kinda basic but I've learned from him anyways. As for how long, fuck that, learn for as long as you want, who cares, as long as you get consistent, that's good enough. R

I really enjoy my Vulp. Mine has developed pretty bad blade rub and tap, however. Disassembly, part swap, etc, have only made it worse. We'll see what happens. So far it's just annoying and causing some of the finish to rub off the blade.
@WillHirschFlips2 жыл бұрын
Do you have lube for it?
@alankaiser38062 жыл бұрын
@@WillHirschFlips Yeah, I've tried generic as well as things like blue lube on it. The only way to mitigate it it to overtighten, which as you mentioned, grooves the washers. I ordered some of the better washers that you posted, and that may resolve the issue. Blade rub on folders is usually a washer issue anyway.

Great job with the vulp! It’s amazing to flip. But my only issue is tap. I tried to tighten it, it doesn’t get to the point where it had little to no tap. It just ended up having tap on only one side. Bit handle has the tap, safe has barely any. Curious if its just me?
@ArmWrangler2 жыл бұрын
Not just you. Unfortunately the vulp isn’t even made as well as the morse. I’ve taken my morse apart 50 times, replaced hardware but never had to tune the bushings. Zero tap zero play. But the vulp I cannot tune at all and when I take it apart I cannot get it back together. The tolerances aren’t even good enough for it to be this difficult honestly.

See, the “special trick” that he does is really smart BUT, I would not be afraid of breaking the handle, but instead weakening the handle up where the pivots and the zens are bc I feel like if you keep bending something just like any material, it will get it weaker and closer to breaking. Yes the amount your bending it is so small it shouldn’t matter but for how long I feel like these are going to last, at some point that’s just how I feel it would do
