Does this work when we use a beading thread instead of wire?
@katieparkerjewellery72773 жыл бұрын
Hi, the thread I’ve used is a traditional beading thread which is often called tiger tail too. I would not use crimp beads straight onto a beading thread such as fireline or wildfire thread.

Where can I get quality crimping holes, crimping covers, tools, etc. I tried buying these on Amazon & had to return all of it due to the bad quality and tiny sizes they came in. I’m a beginner and will need a starter set. Can you recommend which ones to purchase and where? Thank you!
@katieparkerjewellery7277 Жыл бұрын
Hi, I would advise finding a local bead shop and trying out different sizes and seeing what works for you. I wouldn’t buy a starter set as there will be a lot you won’t use. Just buy small amounts to try out to start with. I use many different places online also, mainly Cooksongold Beads Direct and The Curious Gem.

Crimp cover are not necessary for security, but they cover the crimp tube which can look unsightly. They make the piece of jewellery look more professionally finished off.
