Hi! I recently bought a new flag, but the brass grommets are wider than the screw that attaches to the plastic ring. What should I do? For now I have simply attached the upper grommet to the clip at the top of the pole and tied the lower one down with some string... Looks pretty makeshift though.

Suppose your flag only has one hole or grommet as you say, then what do you?

If your flag has a pole hem sleeve, there is usually a tab inside the sleeve that you would use the clip for and not the rotating rings. If your flag is not a pole hem and it only has one grommet, I would contact who you bought it from to put another grommet in because you wouldn't be able to attach that flag to a pole. I've only seen that happen once so that is rare.

If you are using it in a parade where the speeds are under 20mph, it should be ok. It is not strong enough to drive around town or down a highway.

I’m wanting to hang a 2’ by 3’ flag on the side of my house with a 5’ spinning flag pole. What’s your opinion about this flag size for a house flag mounted with a 45 degree angled bracket? I see that you put a 3’ by 5’ flag on a 5’ pole. Everywhere I read about flag and pole sizes, I’m told that if you hang a 3’ by 5’ flag that you would need at least a 6’ pole. Can you give me your advice? Thanks.

Hi Rob, great question! We used a 5' pole for ease in instruction with this video. We do recommend using 2'x3' with a 5' pole and 3'x5' with a 6' pole especially with a 45 degree bracket. With a 90 degree angle you could use a 3'x5' with a 5' pole.

Having the flag super tight basically keeps the flag wrapped around the pole on windy days from what I’ve noticed. I’ve consistently tried to find the right amount of slack but I never seem to find any luck.

Hi Jake, Your best bet is to get a couple of zip ties and cinch it snug to the stick (but not too snug or you could snap it, depending on your stick). You can get these at your local hardware store, online, or if you are near Little Rock, Ar, just stop in our showroom and ask for a couple.

FlagandBanner.com, Didn't help at all. On the video the pole she's using is a pole to hang by the side of the house. the pole I got is a 1&1/2" inground pole with ropes. On this video I didn't see her attach a flag on a inground pole with rope.
