hey there, I watched this whole video. I'm appreciative for the tutorial on if i was to do this myself on my 2000 civic lx. Right now i'm completely broke, i bought the car from someone who didn't tell my it was having transmission issues. i havent yet changed the transmission fluid filter. it hesitates shifting 3rd to 4th and also on a side not the gear shifter is hard to shift progressively and sometimes it feels almost normal then goes back to being too hard moving from park to reverse. all the gears work and its a decent car but i dont want it to suddenly crap out it would be a waste. so theres almost 200k on it now. i think swapping it to manual would be far better instead of just getting another automatic transmission for it...

don't you have to change the ecu as well? When you swap to Manual?

@@Vacated204 my car has the auto ECU and it's flashing "D4" on my cluster, it thinks th car is having problems with the automatic transmission solenoidd. but it doesnt exist anymore. so, my car is running, but it has kind of a studder. i can tell it's not the engine, its 100% ecu related. any idea what to do? i plan on replacing the ecu this week

What’s up, this video was very informative. I have a 93” 4.0L 6 inline grand cherokee that I got for free that’s an automatic trans. So basically to do a swap i just gotta drop the auto trans and replace with the manual trans? Plus everything else going on in the video

Deedra Fabella As for anything other than a Honda I have no idea but the same concept should apply to anything. As long as the holes are for the manual parts are there it should work.

Bro! This video was amazing! I’m new to the car life lol. I just got a 99 Honda Civic DX hatchback. I want to do a swap as well. Is there anyway you could put up a list of all the parts you needed? I know you went over everything and the video was very detailed. I just want to make sure I have all I need before I even attempt this lol
