Hi Amy - I find your voice very relaxing and soothing. Your explanation is very clear and concise and I have learned a lot from you. I have the Janome Contential M7 and I LOVE everything about the machine. The stitch quality is superb . Thank you for the informative tutorials.

Excellent method, Amy. Sometimes I steam iron an excessively full area, and that makes the fabric tighten.

I have been getting puckering. Will definitely use the "follow the fullness" method. Thanks!

I just wanted to say thank you for the video. I always seem to have an issue when I quilt the outer border where it meets the raw edge. By the time I get to that area, the fabric has been stretched and a bit wavy, especially in the corners. Apparently, I have created the problem by quilting from the border seam out to the ends. Today I quilted big loops from both sides and it came out great! No bulges or puckers. I'm a new quilter and always appreciate tips that solve problems and improve my sewing. Thank you so much!!!

Thank you so much! This was the best knowledge about quilting I have seen in a long time.

I saw that you created the bunching parts by not quilting evenly. I’m getting ready to quilt mine. It has three panels that go the width of the quilt separated by two rows of small pieced sashing blocks. The whole quilt is outlined by larger pieced blocks. I planned on stitching in a ditch first, quilting the pieced blocks and then quilting the appliqué panels. After I watched your video I’m worried about creating a problem by stitching in that order. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
