With regards to Student Visa Extention due to a failed Placement, and the need to repeat the Placement, would like to know whether the Extention Visa would affect the future Application of my Visa 485 or not as you mentioned that the Extention is actually an Application for a new Student Visa.

Good Morning! I have a 485 visa as a dependent relative applicant, this visa is going to expire the end of October, I am planning to study general english to pass the Ielts exam and start a certificate in commercial cookery, is it too risky if I leave the country and get from overseas the student visa for January next year? or should I study 2 months prior my visa expires and get an extension with a student visa to avoid any future negation? I have been here for 4 years as a dependent applicant and I have never studied in Australia but I know that I have full rights to study with this visa but I prefer to save more money. sahil GMB As we do not know why your visa was refused it’s hard to say if you should reapply. Go through the refusal letter and see if you can satisfy the reasons for refusal the next time you apply. Hope this helps. Sirus Migration
