Mike has this same thing on the Pink Widow drag del sol, I think he actually has the 20 dollar one and he calls it "China Grip" not phantom grip and it seems to be serving them pretty well on their journey to hit the 10's. Another great video bro keep it up

Question, if you were to block off the FWD axels, cutting them off at the shaft and plugging the transmission with them, then welding the differential would you theoretically be able to go RWD?

Yea it would make much more sense to take equal material off of each phantom grip halves, those gears aren't cheap. You could have possibly even done it yourself since it is softer, aluminum.

pete rath the crv 5speed is awd or do I wanna use the crv 5speed just for fwd which is the same as the LS I believe but has a spot for the transfer case for the awd but either way most people unhook the drive shaft to put it on a fed dyno if that’s all they have access to. So I’m not sure what u mean n is why maybe nobody has commented to this so let me know or if I told u what u wanted to know

Rated too 800 hp my ass. back in the early /mid 2000's when i frist got into mechanic industry now im in my early 30's . Those things couldn't hold no more then 350 some not even . Good fun but they weren't well made back then . But if you want a great cheap lsd melt some lead then pour it into the centre will not work on C cilp diffs also need to block off any holes use sand to fill were axels go into the centre if not the axels will not fit back into .here in Australia lots of burnouts cars back in day did this no welding needed
