Norman, your videos have been one of the nicest things about getting back into skating aged 31

A video on holding long slides would be great. Definitely something I'm trying to work on. Growing up when everybody was bonking tricks on the end of ledges had that ingrained in me for a couple decades, haha

I learned this trick by pretending somehow I was popping into a front blunt but from the other side if that makes any sense. Best trick ever.

I can get in and slide but I just seem to have trouble getting out, which I would think this the easiest part but not for me, any tips and also would love a video on holding long slides

Try slowing down, and practicing controlling your movements. Then, speeding back up once you have it down.

I had this trick somewhat consistent in the first week i learned them. I even kickflipped into one. For some reason im having trouble with landing them now. I have trouble locking in completely. Any more secrets?
@NormanWoods3 жыл бұрын
Make sure you’re looking at the ledge, practice popping into them slowly until you get the lock tight. Then speed it back up. Having your knees bent also gives you the needed leverage. Beyond that, it’s just a matter of doing so many of them that they become second nature.

Spookhill elementary school in lake Wales Florida lowest perfect rails down 2 seven stair sets and concrete ledge out front that is usually good to ultra swag on a weekend when school is closed. Always awesome bust in summer off season. The sheriff there is anticipating skateboard, pizza delivery, drug mule moves and damn near everything else. You can you pop the nose into a back tail slide on the nose of the board? Would that force your shoulders into making you land fakie, or would you just lean differently and roll off regularly as you would any other back tail?

What if there was a bubble available to people in wheelchairs to get annoyed by scooter kids again after a bad enough injury? Is that insane; or genius?

Is knowing how to fall / roll a thing Norman? I think so but not sure. Broke my shoulder in 2020 at a slappy spot. Also got head stitches at a ditch spot in 2020 too. No lie. #brokeTFoff

Gotta know how to fall. Learning to roll has saved my body so much mileage. Heal up!

Crail slide with the truck under the tail pivoting into the slide on tail only. Nobody is born knowing how to skateboard. Only the people invested in learning to skateboard. That age and consciousness have the attention and money to invest in your media
