Today, I cooked one large mackerel in the oven with a leftover cooked baking botato to brown. The result was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the fish immensely! I used part of an ordinary onion minced, with oregano as I did not have basil. I also cooked it in the oven at gas mark 4 (180 C) for a period of 30 minutes to fully cook. Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe! 😊

Perfect..i add lemkngrass ginger tomatos slices of lemon ang dried hot chilies optional inside the tumnmy to lessen the fishy taste

I like this but it smells, I would bake it covered with foil to reduce the odor but I still got complaints about the 'fishy' smell that filled up the kitchen. I wonder how other cooks deal with the smell.

That's strange, usually when we like the food we also like the smell!😊 Isn't when you don't like the smell it will never reach your tummy? Anyways, we're all unique and you can bake yours covered with foil to reduce the odor, great idea! Thanks for your comment and happy cooking!😃
