Glad to see you here! Your WRAP and time audit really helped me when I needed it the most. I teach them to my teens, too. Forever thankful.

I want to see more content like this. I’m very much into productivity and I’m a new parent. I find much of the productivity content to be in conflict with the parenting lifestyle. Everything changes after having kids. It’s mission critical that I learn how to balance both in a holistic way.

As a dad of two working from home building opportunities, I feel all of this. I’m homeschooling my children, which is presenting its own challenges.

Right on David 👏We're homeschooling too, it's a challenge but we love the process. Want to be clear though that my wife does the bulk of the "work" with homeschooling. Thanks for the message!

Thank you for sharing this discussion Tiago and Matt. I’m a new father of a 5 month old girl and my wife and I have been asking these same questions.

Thanks for the video @mattRagland and Tiago Forte, you guys nailed on picking the subject of this video. Big chunk of your audience also struggles with the multiple facets with ones busy life's, specially when trying to combine these multiple journeys, Dad, work, side hustle and all. One really big thing I was able to carve out from this video is the huge value you add to the reference of your father Tiago, you constantly mention them in your books and its really attached to your "Why", I really have a respect to that, it might be a subject deviating a lot from your area but maybe a topic for the future videos, like the diference between "analogical" and digital Dads, the pace, the priority and all of that...

100% THIS!! I feel the ultimate test of your productivity and the systems you have in place are when you have children, or any similar carer role. Until then, it's all just a bit silly 😆. I can't take Ali Abdaal seriously now.

It's a big change, for sure! Obviously Ali is a great guy, and I'm sure he'll have great content when/if he has kids :)

Having a carer role (eg children) tests all systems. Including second brain. How do you carry out the record element of second brain when you don't a hand free to take a phone note. Ask Siri to make a note?
@MattRagland7 ай бұрын
Personally I just do the best I can to record when I have a free hand :)
