I book I always refer to is "Little Dogs: Training Your Pint-Sized Companion" by Deborah Wood. I got my gates from Chewy and I kept in in a playpen if I can't supervise them.

I have two King Charles cavalier puppies. Benny is Blenheim and Zoey is tri-color. They are a day apart and super sweet pups. I love them. They do have different personalities and it’s funny. I always wanted this breed of dog since Lady and the tramp. Didn’t expect to get two. Zoey is mine and Benny is my mom.

They do shed ALOT haha but it’s worth it!

I’ve had cavaliers for 20 years and compared to other dogs they are nit heavy shedders. They do shed but NOTHING like labs or goldens. Also, for some reason the color of cavalier makes a difference. The “whole colors” which are the ruby and the Black and Tan seem to shed less to me and the Blenheim and tri seem to shed a little more. I will also say that the Black and Tan in my experience has a lot more hair and the texture isn’t quite as silky and therefore they seem to matt more than the broken colors

Cavalier King Charles spaniels can cost anywhere between 1,500 - 4,500 that’s because they need a lot of testing and health checks done. unfortunately the breed is riddled with health issues.

Never had a dog before and want one, so i ask "stupid" questions. What is the temperature of the water u bathing your dog? How hot is your dryer when u use it. Is like gentle warm or is it like just cold? When i get a dog, i want this prosedure to be a pleasure for my dog, not a torture treatment of my dog

I used lightly warm water on a low pressure and try not to shoot the water on their face, and inside the ears. Also make sure the air temperature is not to hot or cold. The dryer I constantly alternate between warm and cool on a low setting. It's a lot but worth it :)
