Do you need to cut and start in a new corner every time or can you slip stitch to corner
@haileycrenshaw89272 ай бұрын
@@sharonchristensen5882 Hey 👋 I came to the comments looking for an answer to this as well. I am going to try slip stitching it because my yarn is ombre and I feel like I would use up so much of the skein by cutting and weaving in ends. I think it should be okay.

I started one of these a couple of years ago. Was using like Cherokee Indian colors. Ran out of one of the colors. That I can't find anymore. Its such a pretty style. I was halfway finished. I guess I could get a color close to it to finish it. Don't you hate that when they discontinue colors? Ugh. I think it was a brown kind of clor I was using. Then mine almost turned intpo a diamond shape. But everyone said it looked fine..🙄😁 Its a fun stitch. Once you learn it. And easy. Its so soft too. 😊

Question: do you have to break every two rounds? Could this be worked without breaking? If so, how would you recommend transitioning to the next row?

It's traditional to do so. If you don't want to do so, you'll have to slip stitch over to the first CH-1 in a corner.

Donna can this stitch be done with doubles instead of trebles?
@naztazia Жыл бұрын
I personally have not had good luck (in the past) with double crochet with this one mostly because the treble crochet make the rounder diamond parts fuller. But it very well might be possible with some minor adjustments.
@elizabethsaldivar8214 жыл бұрын
Such beautiful pattern 😍. Does it have to be in treble or can it be done in double crochet?

I dont want to use different colour wool, just want to use the one colour. How do i do that please? I cant work out how to do the second layer without changing wool.
@naztazia6 ай бұрын
After the first round is made, it sort of ends at the bottom of the 4-leaf clover looking motif. The orange-yellow color then gets placed in the first chain space above that end point. To use the same color, do the last slip stitch at the 4-leaf clover end point. Then make slip stitches along the top over the next treble crochet stitches, then one more slip stitch into the correct Round 2 space for starting. From there the rest of the pattern can be followed for Round 2. Same with subsequent rows - just slip stitch over the stitches that are before the starting space needed for the next round.
