Hi Tom, what a great video. Never really comment on social media unless it's something I think really stands out. I have to thank you for giving me the confidence to buy our Komodo about 12 months ago. I watched a load of videos from all over the world, and on the whole most were ok. However, I found your honest, no frills easy manner and setup and back story a great thing to watch how you have evolved to the present day content. This video is godsend to me and a lot of other people I would think, as the task of cooking different dishes always seems to see me end up in a flap or eating later than we should. Love the videos you put out, and it's great to see family and friends in the occasional one, as that is the whole point of barbecuing. Still to do a meal for more than the two of us, but this has given me and others I should think, more confidence. Follow a few, but Tom, I think what you do with the resources available to you are relatable to most people. Thanks again Pal👌

I done a bbq for about 20 people. Went simple…. Beef barbacoa nachos, smoked for 3-4 hrs then chucked in the slow cooker on low over night. Pulled pork, cooked over night, ott chilli that morning, sausages, burgers, wings, Mexican corn. I like things already done before they even get there and sausages and burgers are easy enough.

Some great tips fella, especially on the bit about not having time for a beer and then chugging it when you get a chance! Sometimes I end a BBQ half cut and felt like I haven't talked to anyone all day 😂

Fantastic advice. I agree a little effort like a juicy Lucy is a great surprise for people. I normally have two types of wings as a go to. I’ll use smoker to get the pulled pork going and have drums and wings going too and finish off on kettle with a glaze. Doing something simple like Asian glaze with sprinkling sesame seeds and chopped spring onions made me look like a bbq hero recently.
