That's why you come to the UK where even the sling and crutches are free. They also let you take home any of the stuff that they would have had to have thrown away, like if they cut your Bandage with some scissors, you can have the scissors

Yeah the sound is longer in "teen" compared to the second part of "Poutine" in French, which would indeed sound more like "tin"

French from France or French from Quebec? The two languages diverged around the conclusion of the Seven Years War in North America (in other words, when Britain annexed New France). They've kept enough parity in the language that they're still quite similar, but we've still had the French President tell our Prime Minister (who was, at the time, born and raised in Quebec and thus more fluent in French than English) to please speak English because the French he spoke was harder to understand.
