I'm pretty much in agreement with what's said in the first ~30 minutes of this video... (not that I paid much attention to the promotional aspects of it) but Hold the phone... the 4 stage cycle that a country goes through, gets repeated over and over again, but then we got this idea that a revival needs to happen... presumably to stop that cycle??? even though it looks to be inevitable. (Did I miss something?) I certainly agree that too many toys is not a good thing. The Pleasure Principle is disrupting our joint connectedness to a degree. But I am not sure I agree that women as a class, are no longer requiring commitments from men. (Speaking in terms of the USA.) Just because roles are less gender based than they used to be, is not a cause for alarm. Men stepping into greater roles of parenthood is a good thing. Women developing self confidence from success in the marketplace is a good thing. Thoughts I will keep in mind while I watch further...
