I'm just getting started in the industry and have been doing a ton research. I took a lot away from this interview. Awesome insight. Thanks guys

Phenomenal interview. Two industry pros asking smart questions and getting smart answers. David Duford is a no BS entrepreneur.

David Duford is actually the reason I got into insurance! Needed to find something to make money and came across his KZbin vids and was like, "Wait, what? This so cool! I'm going to get my license!"... ended up signing with another IMO... but I love David!!!!

Would anyone know if most/any of these principles would also apply to selling health insurance vs life insurance?
@TheDIGAgency2 жыл бұрын
From an activity standpoint, yes. Leads may vary depending on the type of health insurance you sell.

1200 a week of direct mailers? or thats a lead source like facebook.
@TheDIGAgency2 жыл бұрын
Direct mail is this hypothetical example. An agent can use Facebook leads for face-to-face final expense, but direct mail is absolutely superior in most regards.

Yeah 4,800 dollars a month is tough to start with. That is $57,000 a year that is a full time job for some folks. Coupled with the fact that their is a learning curve. You should have start up capital, Leads, Computers, Car, Gas Brochures … for at least 6 months plus living expenses. Plus you have to keep in mind fall off rate.

Fyi the dude that sold 500 Medicare account calling until they answer can lose his licence. CMS has regulations on numbers of calls an agent can call a Medicare beneficiary. Break the rules not the law!
@rexscipio33442 жыл бұрын
Is it twisting, churning, misrepresentation or rebating? No. Is it a call to someone on the national Do Not Call registry? No. Be quiet.
@torvicd12 жыл бұрын
@@rexscipio3344 it's different when calling a Medicare beneficiaries to sell then Medicare advantage. You need to a consent to contact (no more than 6 months old ). You can cold call to sale a med sup then if client ask, you can talk about medicare advantage.
@denisemack58452 жыл бұрын
When did Dave say the guy was selling Medicare? Did I miss it? 😕
