Just wait for the rear main seal to fail. It WILL happen. Also timing chain tensioner. But the tensioner will be reimbursed by volkswagen if you can prove a reputable shop has done the work.

That's crazy! I have an mk7.5 that I've own since 8 miles. It currently has 15,000 on it and it's never had A CEL. It runs even stronger than when it had 10 miles.

@REEL SIXX Firstly: I drove a Golf Variant with 184 hp (on paper) which should be rather close and i found it dull, to be honest. Additionally, I don’t really like Diesel engines, but that only on a side note. Secondly: I also did a test drive in a i30N and I was positively surprised. The handling was unexpectedly sharp, especially for a FWD car. And if you look at the suspension setup, you can see the BMW-M influences, as it was developed by the former head of BMW-M (forgot his name). And on a very personal note: I don’t like VAG Cars, as they are way too similar to each other.

Later when I had to adjust the suspecsion, one of my coilovers were broken, so I bought the cheapest set i could find afterwards. Car came with stickers to cover up rust on the front fenders and came on BBS rims. Just straight piped it last week 😂😂

One of my current cars is a 2003 GTI VR6. One of the most reliable and fun cars i've ever owned, hands down! Original owner, 16 years running. The only mechanical issue was the engine cooling fan died 2 years ago, and had to be replaced. Engine light has only ever come on once, and for that reason. My Mk2 1984 GTI lasted me 19 years, with 314,000 miles, original motor. Both cars manual transmissions. Did I just get 'lucky'?

Also in the mornings when I shift the car into drive, it takes it like 2 or 3 second for the transmission to engage (but only In the mornings) ALSO about 20% of the time the transmission slips when shifting into 3 or 4 gear. I recently bought a Mk5 2004 1.9 TDI 110 PS , I have it for 5 months now and its my first car , I'm 20 , I got it with 107.000 kilometers , it is very clean outside and inside , I haven't got BBS wheels and I don't like them , I don't have racelands coilovers , I am guilty about taking pictures and showing it off but because I really love cars from the bottom of my heart , I haven't repaired anything since I got it , nor a check engine light has come up since (now I have 111.670 kilometers) , I had to search 1 year for a decent mk5 bc where I live there are a lot of mk5 with many problems , especially engine problems , I just take it for the regular checkups that need to be done and they have told me my car is in Tip-top condition , also I noticed that from the start when I bought it the engine is madddd clean and I still have it that way , I get along the month on gas now with 40 $ ? I drive it normal now , when I first got it my monthly gas was crazy around 130 $ since I used to rev it a lot and drive 140 160 all the time , it literally drank gas with a straw , I had to stop by the gas station every 3-4 days to put gas in it , but now I get good gas mileage and it has been a very good car to me since I bought it , I will be upgrading wheels , interior and wrap it in the summer soon , other than that I found this video very funny bc I have friends who have other VW cars and these are very spot on , you have a new subscriber :D

I have the Volkswagen Golf IV and: I wanna install a coilovers I have on my 1.9 TDI a straight pipe(but it's not so loud up to 2200 RPM) Check engine is not going on (because it's Euro 2 and they not have a checklight) Stickers not for my taste BBS wheels for the Golf are the best But the main reason why I own a Volkswagen it's because I live in Germany and for 1000€ it is the best car (the cheapest which not break every day) and sorry for English

I’ve got a mk4 golf 1.9 tdi and i love it , got it 4 years ago for 4000€ (a old lady sold it because it was her husband car and he died) , it had 135k kilometers and beside from diesel tyres and oil i never had an isue! So not bad of a deal, for a car that a beat it to the ground everyday! My wife drives a 2013 passat 2.0 tdi and the only light that showed up was the particles filter, só not a bad car either. I’m in college, have a high school maintenance job, and have a 2016 Altima and a 2006 lifted duramax. If you save up and work hard, you can get whatever you want. I have friends that get shitty cars and put more into them trying to be “ricers” then actually buying a newer, more reliable vehicle. Currently have 2 VWs so that I always have a working car. I’ve had the first for over 9 years and the second was free to borrow for 6 months. Stock suspension and exhaust and no stickers. Stock BBS wheels on the 1.8T and occasional CEL. Constant CEL in the TDI with 3-4 codes.

Michael Franco personaly I own a vw jetta gli (mk5) and I like this model more than the mk4, but I want to do a front-end swap with a mk6 I really think it's look great, but it's your opinion for the mk5 😜(if you want to see the front-end swap just write: stancenation mk5 front-end swap)

@@jessylauzon8740 Oh its not my opinion at all! I just say that because thats what everyone else says. I personally have a mk5 jetta and I love it. I'm actually doing an R36 engine swap and AWD conversion on it at the moment. Not sure what front end I'm going to end up with because theres plenty other things in need to spend my money on first, but I'm thinking the mk5 r32 front end (but with an R36 badge) because it seems fitting for the project I'm doing. I do love the mk6 R front end as well though

My Seat Ibiza has a Volkswagen engine! It's basically the best engine ever built! Its a BBY 1.4 with 16 valves because racing you know! It puts out a tremendous 75 hp so no BMW has any chance against me!
