Meal planning- we get the family involved . We have a coffee can that every time we like the meal we put it on a paper slip then it goes in the jar. On Sunday my son picked 5 meals out of the jar and that is our menu for the week .. no more trying to find meals for the week

Great Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (google it)? It is a good one of a kind guide for decluttering your home minus the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

Thanks for this video, I needed this today! One of my fun tips is to play hide and seek and whilst I look for them I say loudly.."Is he in the bed?" as I quickly make the bed I say..'nooo' "Hmm, is he in the bathroom?', I speed organise the toothbrushes, pick up a towel etc.. Its a nice way to clean and play so they don't feel ignored.

Your cleaning and organisation videos have helped me so much, amazing how much better you feel when everything is organised and tidy, you actually inspired me to get rid of my massive wardrobe that I had and sort through all my clothes, some of which I had never worn and still had the labels on them, and I either donated them to charity or chucked them out if they were really old, I now just have a hanging rail and a chest of draws and because I can see it all it makes me keep it neat and tidy, so thank you very much ❤😁

Somehow I cannot stop watching these videos. I do not have any children of my own yet, but I do have three little nephews between the ages of 6 and 1 that I babysit every so often. And I have found that I can help around the house and keep them happy and occupied at the same time. I do plan on adopting a baby at some point in the near future, and I will definitely be using a bunch of these tips to help me out around the house.

Thank you for all the fabulous ideas! It will help so much with my daily tasks what I also do is a "To Do List" & A "Bathroom needs& Wants" a "Bedroom needs/wants" and every paycheck buy something i need or if it is to organize and clean i can do that and check it off my list . I work full time and many times over time about 50-55 hrs a week as well as my husband we are a family of 3 it is hard to get things done in a single day and doing the to do list and working on a sigle part of the house more to check it off my list feels great!

Think I do virtually all of these! I'm a big lover of lists too, I write lists for EVERYTHING!! One thing I always make sure I have sorted is the schoollunch money. My 2 bigger boys pick and choose which days to have a hot school lunch or a home pack up, it's pay on the day at their school so I make sure I've got the correct change enveloped and marked up ready on a Sunday evening. I've been implementing some of your suggestions already! love the idea of shared lists between spouses. That would be helpful. I'm a homeschooling mom of 3 with lots of animals/pets and a good sized house to clean so... yeah... I don't sit down much! I can use all the organizational tips I can get. Meal planning is great. And I have my two older boys (6 and nearly 4) do lots of jobs. Little children can, with practice and praise, be very helpful! my oldest at 6 can empty the dishwasher, fold clothes, vacuum a room... and my younger son can dust furniture, put away silverware, sweep, and clean up toys!

The 15 minutes a day reorganizing a room is a helpful idea, because I can get overwhelmed trying to get those things donw with a baby. I have a 2 month old and he wants me to hold him most of the time( even while he naps), so it gets hard for me to sit down and focus on something for longer then that. Ive also heard of doing certain types of laundry through out the week helps. Like: whites on Wednesday and darks on Thursday and colors on Friday and sheets on Saturday. I also do the same thing with cleaning the house. I clean the house from top to bottom; so Monday dusting and countertops, Tuesday sweeping and mopping, etc. It is super surprising how much you can get done while babies are sleeping.

Great video Emily ! really great tips, for anyone not just busy mums. Even myself who children are grown and out of the house. I think as our children grown and leave sometime we can fall into an unorganized pattern. Love ur channel, love ur tips! I find a lot of similarities with what I do throughout the day with my 2 kids. The only thing that's different , I don't have a cleaner. Maybe after we have a third baby we'll hire someone. My tip would be freezing meals. For example when I make lazanga or ricotta stuffed shells or fried rice, I'll make a big batch and freeze extra in aluminum containers. Write down what's in it, and what needs to be added before cooking. Thaw it out in the morning, pop it in the oven at dinner time. No mess no problems! Also I make different kinds of veggie burgers, and keep those in a freezer. Homemade and delicious!

yay love these tips. much of this is exactly the same as my day to day life. we like to order all our meat in advance and then separate it and bag it up with a vacuum pack machine and into the freezer. We just take out the meat in the morning according to what the evening meal will be and it helps us save wasting food. We also keep birthday cards spare for adults and children and all occasions too. lovely to have a card to hand. Great video Emily:) x

Just fabulous, as usual! I do a lot of these already, but will incorporate the rest of them, such great ideas. One thing I do to save time in the morning is make smoothie packets. Wonderful tips. I envy you. I have a 5 months old baby and can't seems to get anything done or maybe I don't have enough time to do them but you seem so efficient.

Hi. I have been watching one video and i just loved watching you and learn new tips. You are sooo beautiful and look so happy. Its really nice too see. I love your accent (i am french). I have 3 kids. 7 years old girl , 2 years old girl and 8 months baby girl. My eldest is so sweet and helps me around the house. I don't have my family (all in France) so I don't have help. I am working from home ( IT Recruitment) so i can get some little things done between 2 cv screening! But overall its quite hard juggling with all that. Anyway i ll be watching other videos. Take care xx

LOVE these tips so much! I have three little ones as well (all girls though!) and I have such a hard time keeping up with all their activities and parties! Love the organizer bulletin board, I will be on the lookout for one like that. I got rid of my previous bulletin board bc it was hideous but yours is so cute!

I'm really tempted to get a cleaner! Also need to get a meal planning board - my husband is a nightmare for 'not fancying' what I am making so at least he can see what is planned for the week and choose from that! Fab video as always x

I loved this Emily!! So many tips. I'm nervous for how tough it's going to be when the boys are at school and have sport clubs every day!! Definitely feel like I'm not organised when I haven't meal planned. I do the present drawer too!! So handy xx
