I opened the comments section expecting it to be full and was so shocked to see it's empty. I just watched Inside Out 2 last week and your video met me at the perfect time. I loved hearing you talk about happiness and the importance of struggle. Thank you so much for this please keep it up and I hope you seen get the recognition and community you obviously deserve ❤

hey, thank you for this video!! even though rationally i knew about this topic, but for some reason, your video resonated emotionally quite strongly with me this time! i kinda struggle with social anxiety and feelings of shame, and usually don’t even bother to try to vocalize my opinions, so even writing this (more or less anonymous) comment feels quite anxiety-inducing. But yeah, only WITH struggle and fear can we overcome our struggles and fears. All in all, thank you for making this video!!

Loved your video, as always. I think we do need to struggle, and that in that struggle we can learn so much. Life is way too convenient so much of the time and I think you might have hit why I get so frustrated with my kids at times (and maybe why the old 'I used to walk barefoot through snow to school' line is iconic for the next generation up) - there is so much less to struggle with, and thus their ability to cope with said struggles is less. Less resilience, less ability to push through, plow on, or see the value in that. 'Ugh, but I don't want to!' is the common refrain, and all I can think is 'do you think I want to cook dinner every day?! Nope, but it's gotta be done...' Clearly, I need to make my kids struggle more 🤣 I've certainly had more than my fair share of struggles!

Thanks! I feel the same way, but I do believe that we should make life better for the generation after us, which comes with comforts, but we need to realize when it's getting too much. I don't think the WallE future is the one we want!
