I would love to be able to pinky swear on this, however I have absolutely no idea what I might want to talk about in these videos. (I did post my first IG vid a week or so ago, but it was in the style of a self tape - I was copying a friend who makes a habit of this.) As an actor, I feel confident delivering scripts written by others, but I'm not so confident in just being myself in front of the camera. (I have a feeling many actors feel similarly.) Do you have any prompts folks like me might use to get started? Thanks so much, as always, for your wonderful tips!

Hi Christopher! You have to figure out how to tell your story online. That's where all of your social media starts. Not posting self tapes or bookings but what very targeted 2 or 3 things you will share will us that tell your story and also attract a specific audience. Great question! Depends on what type of video you're creating. For short form (like TikTok and IG Reels) I love InShot and it's available for Apple and Android. For long form/self tapes Filmic Pro is great and works with Android devices (not free...but great).
