Something these lists or videos never mention is BE FUCKING HUMBLE. You just make yourself look like a fool with an inferiority complex if you try to look like "that guy" all the time. People, especially older guys, can sniff that out easily, and you'll just look like an idiot trying to power trip on people. For example, the handshaking mention where the video mentions they world leaders wont let go in handshakes sometimes because theyll look inferior. The opposite is all true. If youre the guy that just keeps holding on because you want to try to overpower someone during a handshake, you automatically put your inferiority on display. Ill never forget my worst occasion of this. My sister invited her new boyfriend over. Little lanky guy, I go to greet him with i call "The business handshake". I work as an Ops Manager, and its a solid handshake i give to alot of the corpos and people i meet throughout my work. Very practiced so people can feel acknowledged and but also know I mean business and they can count on me. Give this guy that handshake, dude starts trying to vice grip me immediatley so i iust match the strength of the handshake, some people do that for a quick one, its fine. But then the handshake starts to go on too long, he tries to go even harder. My brain immediatley turns on the "im done here" switch, i try to pull away, he wont let go, so i take my other hand to forcibly remove his hand, and i 180 and walk away. It was so painstakingly obvious how inferior this guy felt, and even my sister read that and told me they argued about it later They broke up a month later. Dont worry, though, my suster got a free car out of it lol Be humble, greet people with respect.
