XPilot P some people learn the beach start faster than others due to location or experience, but with practise and the right conditions it should not take too long.

what comes first? water starts or smaller boards?

water starts because you cant uphaul with a small board, they simply dont hold up if you arent moving. therefore you have to learn the water start before using a smaller board

Hi Henry, We are freelance and are there from December to the end of February. Most of the time we work with JibeCity. We filmed a lot of the videos at the end of the road just because the water is very empty there. It avoids other people sailing accross the video footage.

What I would suggest would be to try pointing the board a bit further away from the wind...... it is hard to tell what you might be doing right or wrong from what you have written above..........the best thing you could do would be to follow the link and then book a clinic. :) www.getwindsurfing.com/#!courses-abroad/cuy0

if the wind is stronger, try going more upwind for control. with practice it will become easy. star in light winds then build to strong
