Honestly probably not. He's not that kind of guy. The "passenger" in the title refers to Bradley because he is essentially a passenger in his own life with no agency. The movie is about standing by and doing nothing with your life and being at the whim of others. The first guy, maybe, but i dont think he wanted anyone else hurt.
@matthewcze

Hmmm...my guess is that, Bradley is scared shitless for sure, yet there is a small piece in Bradley's mind that respects the maniacal coworker because he does what Bradley would want to do himself. (Standing up to struggle/problems/shit thrown at him).

Definitely. If Chris had pulled the shotgun out he would have definitely ran I think.. he was a pretty big wuss But I agree I think there was a mutual respect between the both of them. Just Bradley FINALLY understood when to draw the line

I thought he was just referring to his indecisiveness to come up with a plan I just watched the movie I didn't realize he literally meant the entire movie I still thought it was a good movie but goodness.. The dude needs 5 minutes to do anything. Answer a question. Order a meal. I get it's his character but I don't know how he wasn't fired already by taking 3 hours to the side if he should give the customer change

I wouldn't say Bradly is sociopathic it's bystander effect and as someone else pointed out he lowkey admires the other guy. I'm a survivor of Truama myself and yes trauma does indeed ruin the brain and make you cold though. 4:00 - First thing, he has a shotgun. While they possess great destructive power, they take time to reload. It’s not like the guy has a Russian Saiga (basically, a shotgun w/ a magazine attached). This means that once he runs out of ammo he will be vulnerable. Granted, he could still use it as a club, but that won’t be much help if we blind him w/ cleaner first. Boom! It’s over.

@camobranson09
@camobranson09 Жыл бұрын
@@gortalla5474 Other 4 shells? It was a break action double-barrel, likely a Stoager Coach gun or Savage Arms/Fox Grade A. There are 2 shells, he dispatched 2 people and reloaded and killed 1 more with both shells that he reloaded. That means he has to reload AGAIN before he can fire. It is not a pump action which can hold 4-5 in the tube and 1 in the chamber. However, that aside, the idea that a blind person can't do some serious damage with a shotgun as a club, especially in a literal blind rage, is a bit ridiculous. While yes it means they will be swinging wildly and that means they're more likely to miss you it also means _they're swinging wildly and it will be harder to DODGE._ You can't tell where they're aiming and the likelihood they'll aim for where your head was when they last seen you is only high on the first swing and unless you're good at martial arts you won't have them down before they can get at least some degree of vision back. In a fight or flight situation, which you will be putting Benson into, his pain tolerance is likely to shoot through the roof and so as soon as his body becomes even slightly acclimated to the stinging in his eyes he's going to be able to follow the dodging blurry person. This is all assuming you know how to properly throw a punch in the first place and you don't end up breaking your thumb on the first swing which I have seen happen quite a few times. (Buddy of mine ended up in his first bar fight a couple of weekends ago. He tried to run, guy tackled him, my buddy broke his own thumb when he punched the guy's jaw because my buddy is a super pacifist when it comes to physical confrontrations). People think throwing an effective punch is easy, and it is... but you still have to know how to do it BEFORE you need it because it is easy NOT INTUITIVE for everyone.

I watched this because it looked like mostly dialogue based off of Nerds recap and it was. I liked it alot. Although I don't think it's as deep as some people think it's a very satisfying movie. The motives make sense. The biggest question people have is the teacher beat down You could read into it and like some people think say he was molested. He does have an issue with people having control over him. The guy could have told him to be quiet and that's why he tells others to shut up Personally I don't think it's enough. The teacher could have simply told him to shut his yap in class and that could be the resentment he's hovering since he's a psychopath I say psychopath because I think he confirms it by continuously admitting he's contradicting himself by beating up Brad. Even if he doesn't open they say it he's strongly indicates he knows what he's doing is wrong which is the major distinction between the two

Honestly I think a pretty cool twist would be if at the very end Benson sold out Brad. It was a quaint ending but everything was kind of set up for him to be able to do so. Everybody killed outside of one guy were people that Bradley would have a motive to kill and with his nature when accused he would probably just agree It would have been interesting If we never saw a phone call but the police came and rushed Bradley. Of course for this to happen Benson would have had to kill Mrs Beard first So the guy actually did care more about Bradley then himself. The first obvious example being him not shooting Bradley and Miss Beard when she found out The other not so obvious example being the fact he could have framed him for the whole thing

Especially that your very identifiable car is ALL over town. It's so ridiculous that you wouldn't just walk onto the mall or shop and run into the cashier (who is less than 2 steps away from an officer or someone else who could call them) who would call it in. Clearly written by big city people who have never lived in a small town. I forgot to take my trash can out last week, my neighbor called and checked in on me to make sure I was okay and said he opened my gate and took my trash out. He's at least 85. Nothing goes unnoticed out here. Pros and cons.

He actually isn't that bad of a guy because he could have easily framed Bradley. He willingly went along with the whole thing and since he can't stand up for himself one good interrogation would probably get him to confess. If a cop is looking at this they are probably way more likely to believe it's going to be Bradley since he has connections to most of the victims. By not finishing off Mrs Beard it does confirm Benson actually did care about Bradley and wasn't just using him. He was definitely doing both but yeah he had a way out. A lot of plot holes but this movie I thought wasn’t bad.

I can't see plot holes because it's a very bare bones premise I see inconsistent character decisions and the fact nobody responded to 5 shotgun blasts but again not really a plot hole Definitely not a layered film but I thought it was enough I think a better premise would have been if Benson exclusively is taking Brad to people who made his life hell. But after Chris he takes him to progressively nicer people lol. So it definitely could have been handled better but compare it to Scream 6 who had a way more extravagant budget/team and its a better written Movie

You got the lethal effective range of a Shotgun wrong. Shotguns have an effective range of about 35 m (38 yd) *with buckshot*, 45 m (49 yd) *with birdshot*, 100 m (110 yd) *with slugs*, and well over 150 m (160 yd) *with saboted slugs in rifled barrels*. It's much further effective lethal range than 10 inches.

Nah i think this movie went exactly how it needes to. Those people needed to die to help with bradley transformation into a actual adult. Bradley was Anakin and Benson was his emperor!

Yeah I gave him a pass at the restaurant because Benson did position himself in a way that a spaz like Brad probably would not have been able to make a move in time He did have an opportunity at the freezer and when the boss was being killed but even when the shotgun was sitting there Benson clearly made sure Bradley would have no more than a few seconds. Seeing how he stood there for a good minute with a gun trained on him he probably just played the odds But yeah That's crazy as it sounds I think it's because he was afraid of confrontation. Which is why Benson really could have framed him for the whole thing and probably got away with it if he killed Miss Beard The diner was definitely his first clear opportunity. A few people and an unarmed Benson.

To be fair when they were cleaning up Benson positions himself where even if Bradley made a move without having some kind of seizure he probably would have been able to catch up with him on time And his beatdowns were pretty rough. The guy was frozen in fear with a gun trained on him so I think Benson just figured If you didn't run away in the 30 to 40 seconds he had when he was killing the boss he probably wouldn't grab the gun and successfully get a shot off in 3 seconds The freezer was the really only optimal opportunity he gave Bradley. The next one didn't come until the hash browns At that point Brad they should have just dimed him out to the waitress. Benson hadn't retrieved his gun yet and the other was in the car The next opportunity was the principal but that's kind of a tough spot. If he stayed to help him there's a good chance Benson would have shot them both at least in his mind He had an opportunity at the gas station but nerd points out it does essentially confirm the clerk would be shot He definitely would have rage shot the guy just from being betrayed alone Benson goes from chill to murder in seconds and Brad has such a low self-esteem he would rather die than cause an inconvenience I'm not saying Benson wasn't ridiculously reckless with trusting Brad to be a simp but the guy admittedly can't make a decision and choose not to. That's very easy to exploit I think people would be a lot more satisfied if Benson had threatened to finger Bradley as an accomplice. It certainly would make a lot more sense as to why he might be afraid to immediately call the police

He did Saw X but skipped the rest. I wish he had waited longer because I could tell he watched the movie Maybe once at a casual pace I guess he wanted to get it out at the most popular time but I think his observations would have been a lot better after a second watch or so

I know a lot of canon has gay but honestly outside of the coercion and murder these are more ride or die (no pun intended) friend goals He wanted his boy to fix his life. I didn't see him "saving" him like Jack did Rose in Titanic but more relating to him in a way like fight club. If it is a movie about 2 gay guys than they did a great job. Nothing worse with a movie forcing the LGBSTQ narrative down our throats . Here people have the ability to use context and come to interpretations.
