Yes and no my grand father when he came back from the Vietnam war, he was the opposite he never wanted any guns around him . I don’t think he actually touched a gun since he came back he was diagnosed with ptsd loud things and or flashes would sometimes set him off but he was mostly internalized. What I mean was he would get moments where he would just be sitting on the porch in his chair with his beer looking off into the distance just sitting still for several minutes at a time, you could walk in his in his view and he wouldn’t even acknowledge you. If you tapped him then he would jump out of it, you could tell he was reliving moments, i don’t know of what since he never spoke about it he would only say memories and chuckle.

Besides I believe you could still see them outside up close, and even if not, they should've cased the inside while breaking in, in order to make the most of it and being safe. I think their biggest mistake, was continuing the robbery after finding the unexpected locks. If they did all that reconesence first, they're experienced at this. And every thing I've seen from ex cons, they say that if there's anything unexpected they find they dip immediately. You cant get away with crimes if things dont go perfectly to plan. So anything that you didnt expect, not worth it
