A critical element u missed was that, if u went out to a salt water body, the flying monsters would get u. Also it is seen that creatures like the bull are immune to salt. Also if u went to a place like a desert, the monsters coming back from all other parts of the world will make a b line straight for that pit so they will end up running through the desert and anywhere else… there is no safe place except one of those nuclear bunkers that you see Mr beast stayed at. Also you could make a bunker with only an elevator as an entrance. You armor the top of the elevator and then when all of u r in, only a few monsters even get in the shaft and survive the fall, land on the spikes on the roof of the elevator, and even if they made it, you could send a the elevator up, and the elevator doors will be dual both coming from floor and a second one coming from the walls… they aint getting in in 24 hrs… if the monsters stayed this would have been a wayyy difrent movie tho lol… then again if they knew they would stay the second time then I can only imagine the number of nukes headed for that hole… or just a nuke sitting there… or those spikes that the USA dropped from aircraft in Vietnam… humans win. Thank you for your time if u actually read this!

Day or reckoning is already known to be coming after 15 years... exactly HOW did they all know this before the dead fish start washing up? Also, how'd they know salt works on the creatures and not have salt setup all around the known refinery entrance / exit points that the creatures could've come from? Also also, what's to stop everyone from carrying around a can or two of table salt on their person when they know its about to happen, you can also toss in a few bags of rock salt into your vehicle so you have some on hand to ward off any creature that gets close enough as you hopefully put some distance between yourself and the creatures until you reach the sea. Some weird plotholes in the movie

This would be fun. The moment signs start showing, gather everyone you know and go raid the nearest Nerf / pool supplies store. Grab every water gun you can. Also try to find large containers of salt water, or if you're me and live in Florida, just go to the beach with giant containers and fill them up with salt water. Then just have fun blasting down hordes of demons with your friends.

It is honestly dissapointing to me that they had FIFTEEN years between each Day of Reckoning to figure out ways to fend off or even entirely destroy these creatures yet they did nothing but live normally. If they figured out signs of a Reckoning, then that was solid proof that there would be another, and many more to come, so why hasn't there been a single modification made other than a couple government safety zones. Depending on where the facility is, there shouldn't be any human life within a thousand miles in every direction. There's a chance some creatures may still reach civilization, but since they know to return after twenty four hours, the trek there would take up the majority of their time. At least fortify the facility as much as humanely possible to prevent the creatures from escaping. Set traps or something so that when creatures do come out they're instantly killed. Literally anything.

Each Day of Reckoning I’d take my family out on an ocean fishing trip on a boat. I’d bring supplies and plenty of Super Soakers to fill with salt water all around us. Make it a fun game for the kids, see how many bird demons they can shoot out of the sky.

Can someone please explain why car dudes salt didn't work on the bull when every other instance of salt being used killed the monsters without fail? Like it's not as though he missed the bull, we see the thing get showered in salt... It just didn't work. Haven't seen the movie (yet) and am curious because my original thought was "oh so they're just wrong/given false hope" but now I'm left really confused. Just.. for the sake of plot??

@@StarMisura No, I tried to eat it, out of respect and I didn't think she'd have mixed up the salt and sugar, but I only made it through one pancake.
