Yeah this is the same for me I have spent over a hour trying to defeat him even after lowering the difficulty. So i decided to practice fighting him with infinite health on strong & super difficulty for 3 hours tomorrow, you should try that to if you have him unlocked

Heres how i did it. Keep your distance spam kamaehas when hes flying at you or open. whenever he gets close MOST IMPORTANTLY! use the solar flare. He will get stuck for about 10 seconds or until you hit him. Literally did not use it until the last 2 times i fought him. First time realizing how powerful of a stun 2nd time i beat him. USE SOLAR FLARE!!!!!

@CitrusThings you weren't doing it right. Say a 5 foot distance. I know seems close for a giant ape but around there he like almost falls back (stunned) then he will stand there just dumb and stunned. Get some distance between you then.

I do this, just keep your distance, if you be able to dodge vegeta technique use quick kamehameha. Keep your distance to far away and charge to maximum. Then dash to vegeta two times, and keep punching him with combo or something, if you can get behind him is even better. Just keep punch him until the maximum ran out and do the same thing again.

Hey guys I got the most easy method to beat ape vegeta. You need to exploit the "I will break you" beam. Just keep distance and when he launches his bean just dodge and then rush into him and mash X/square. If you get 5 successful hits the ape will be launched to get a couple more hits and kame hame ha as finisher. Try to use downtime to charge your KI and repeat the same process. It was very easy for a noob like me who was literally crying before

It’s no different than the old games he has hyper armor so either go full power to hit him or counter his special attacks with yours so he can’t black him, can you beat him with spamming tien sure but your not using basic mechanics of the game, dodge, use solar flare, charge your attacks or go full power but the fight is overhyped because people just want to button spam lol

Make a wish with Shenron to pass it, and if you dont have wishes, go back where you can pick go with piccolo or go alone, and pick the one you dindt pick.

I literally tried this because I couldn't hear Great Ape Vegeta tell me he'll break me again... this did not work for me AT ALL, I still have to beat the mission, it did not skip it for me and, of course, all the Dragon Balls for Shenron are gone. I would not recommend trying this to pass this mission.

Wasn't your fault or anything, I had the idea before I came here and found your comment :) But yeah, the difficulty spike is insane with that fight, even when reducing difficulty, it doesn't feel like it does anything. I also hope they reduce the frequency of voice lines, especially when in the shop or at Zen Oh because they are spamming them and get's annoying really quick

@@Franic19 i have discover when you cannot clear a mission you have to go pick an other character and clear their missions, or go where the mission split and try ro beat it to go the other direction, that makes the mission easier.
